1 Week Before Moving Day

Call your mover and decide on the time of your move. Finish the packing of your belongings. Make a list of all the packed stuff.

Call your neighbors, service providers etc. at your new neighborhood, and inform them of your arrival. Enquire about the latest developments in the neighborhood. Ask the service providers for the things you might need on arrival.

Make sure that you have some volunteers to help you. Ring up all your acquaintances and inform them of your moving. Sort the packed stuff into categories like the kids’ playthings, glassware etc.

Pack all the documents that you require for the journey separately.
