Storage Facilities

Local Moves generally do not require storage facilities. However; if you are on an International or on a Long Distance Move, it is better that you arrange for the same.

Calculate the storage space required for your belongings. Also estimate the number of days that you need these facilities for. Enquire if your Mover can provide you adequate storage facilities.

While hiring storage facilities, look at the track records and the quality of the ware houses, after all your belongings would be housed in them. Check the alarm, and air condition facilities. Look at the quality of the fire and the burglar alarms.

Always insist on storing your goods at warehouses that are licensed and are insured against theft, fire etc.
